Block by Block Sampler
Join Lindsay to make this fun Modern quilt sampler from Quilty Love's new book Modern Quilts: Block by Block. Students will complete 12 quilt blocks that are a combination of new designs and updated classics. You will learn new techniques for piecing blocks and strategies on how to deal with those occasional "wonky" blocks. Stop by the store on 2/9 during regular business hours for a planning sheet and cutting instructions. Cutting for blocks must be done before class.

Sewing machine in good working order
Basic sewing supplies

3.25 to 4 yards of coordinating fabrics for quilt blocks
2.75 yards background fabric for blocks and sashing
100% cotton thread for piecing
6.5 x 24.5" Creative Grids Ruler (or equivalent)
6.5 x 6.5" Creative Grids Ruler, or any ruler with a 45 degree line from the corner of the ruler
120" Tape Measure
Rotary Cutter with a sharp blade
Silk Pins
Fabric marker/Frixion Pen
