Supplies:
For the wall hanging, the star fabrics you will need 7 fabrics, 1/2 yard each. You can bring extra 1/2 yards of fabric to have some additional color options
The background fabric should not be chosen until the stars are done, so please try to hold off picking this fabric and we will discuss options in the class.
--Pattern is available with the instructor and can be purchased for $15
--Neutral color thread for piecing (100% cotton, 50wt. cotton thread)
--Rotary cutter (45 mm 60 mm any brand)
--Mat (18 X 24 inch, a smaller mat will not be big enough)
--Ruler 6 X 24 inch or 6 1/2 or 8 1/2 wide AND a 9” or 12” square ruler
--Ruler 1 X 6 or 3 x 12 (or other smallish ruler) inch, it needs to be a quilters style ruler not a school ruler

--Basic sewing supplies (seam ripper, fabric scissors)
--Straight pins – Iris Silk pins or Clover Silk Pins (with small red/white glass heads) - NO pins with large ball heads!
--Marking pen that can be seen on your fabric – Frixion pen or white mechanical marking pencil.
