Come join us for the day to get a head start on this paper pieced Scrappy Triangle quilt venture. Whether you are a beginner or someone who just loves to paper piece, you will be enthralled by the versatile way that Leila has designed these blocks. Make a quilt using the 52 blocks or use them in other projects, such as borders, pillows or just for fun. Ideas are endless. During the class, you will be taught several different ways to paper piece and given many tips. The quilt design that appears will be a pattern, plus other quilt layouts that will interest you will be shown for the blocks.   When you register for the class, you will be given a website to login into so that you can print out the great patterns. Scrappy triangles are a great way to use up those scraps you have in storage or use a new bundle of the beautiful fabrics that are available now.

SUPPLIES:
Fabric for the quilt that is on display -

Background - 8 fat quarters or 2 yards. (8" square will make 2 blocks) Border fabric included in the amount
Scraps - 8 fat quarters or 16 1/8 yards to get more variety
Sewing machine in working order
100% cotton 50wt cotton thread - Aurifil or Superior Masterpiece
Add a quarter ruler
Printed patterns from the website - use newsprint paper for easy removal if possible (Once signed up teacher will email you the website to print patterns)
Ruler - 6 1/2" square
Rotary cutter with new sharp blade
Small cutting mat to put next to your machine
