Coastal Lily
Traditional or paper pieced, this quilt is extraordinaire. Use your choice of an assortment of fabrics to create this masterpiece. Two different layouts and lots of examples to make this a fun class to create this quilt. You will be shown two different methods to make the flowers and different ways to make the flying geese along with lots of tips.
SUPPLIES:
Coastal Lily Pattern
Fabric - Lilies (36 blocks) - Nine Fat Quarters will give you 4 lilies of the same color. Each lily takes approximately 4 1/2" x 12"
Geese - 20 assorted medium/dark 2 1/2" strips x width of fabric work well
Leaves & Stems - 1 3/8 yards
Background - 6 1/2 yards
Sewing machine in working order
Rotary cutter and mat
Quarter inch foot for machine
Ruler- 6 1/2" x 18 1/2" Creative Grids
6" Flying Geese & 45/90 Degree Triangle Ruler
Add A Quarter Ruler
