Jelly Roll Rug
Get ready to roll...literally! In this playful and creative class, you will transform simple jelly roll into a stunning Round Jelly Roll Rug that's as fun to make as it is to show off.
I will guide you step-by-step through the process of turning fabric strips into a beautiful rug. You will learn techniques for color placement, smooth stitching and shaping your rug so it lays flat.

Requirements: Knowledge of your machine
Materials:
Sewing machine in good working order capable of doing a zig zag
Walking foot
Clover Fabric Tube Maker
1 jelly roll or 40 2 1/2" strips of fabric
Cotton Thread (we will use a lot of thread)
Katahdin On-A-Roll_ 2 1/2" x 50 yards
Scissors or rotary cutter
Jeans Needle size 90
Pins
Stiletto
Extension table or empty boxes to keep rug flat while sewing
Small Box or Laundry basket to hold your fabric and batting to keep it off the floor while we work.
