Tucker University Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Advanced II
Lets further advance your skills using the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Ruler. In this class you will
learn how to use the ruler to make three new Lemoyne Stars. That means with this one tool
you will be able to make seven di?erent variations! You will learn how to fussy cut Lemoyne
Stars, make Lemons as Triangles and finally the Blazing Star Lemoyne Stars! Just think how
your quilts will look with any of these perfectly created stars!
Supplies:
Sewing Machine
Thread
Snips or trimming scissors
Seam ripper
Rotary cutter
Marking pen or pencil
Small cutting mat

Fabric Requirements:
Lemoynes as Triangles:
Fabric A- 2 strips 2 1/2” x 22”
Fabric B- 2 strips 3 3/4” x 22”
Fussy Cut Lemoyne:
Fabric A- 1/2 Yard of a large print or 1/4 yard of a stripe.
Fabric B- Eight 3 3/4” x 3 3/4” squares
Blazing Star Lemoyne:
Fabric A- 2 - 1 1/2” x 22” strips
Fabric B- 1 1/2” x 22” strip
Fabric C- 1 1 1/2” x 22: strip
Fabric D (Background)- 8 3 3/4”x 3 3/4” squares
