Ready to take the fear out of appliqué? In this class, you’ll learn a beginner-friendly technique that makes those crisp, turned edges easy to master. It’s the perfect way to build your confidence and refine your appliqué stitch—one smooth curve at a time!

Supplies:

- Fabric: one FQ for the background piece
           - Scraps of green for stems, leaves and colors for flower petals and centers
- Straight Tailor’s Awl, stiletto or a larger seam ripper
- Needle Threader - unless you have very young eyes - clover desk threader is fabulous
- Karen Kay Buckley “Perfect Circle” templates
- Hand needle - no rager than a size 10 - my preference is Roxanne brand size 10 between (short needle only 1 inch) but you might like a “sharp” needle which is about 1.25” long
- Roxanne Glue Baste It
- Glue Stick - 2 sicks. This is an acid-free,, water-soluble glue stick
- Thimble of your choice - I can’t appliqué without a thimble and I highly recommend you start using one
- Silk thread - 100 weight, taupe color thread that is wonderful for hiding on more fabric colors
- Small scissors that an cut to the point
- Medium/large scissors
- marking pen or pencil to mark your fabric with
