What a great bag for weekend travel! There are two sizes of this bag: the duffle and the duffle mini. You may choose whichever size works for you. This bag looks like it’s a lot of work but is really simple to make.
Before class please have all your fabric spray starched and cut
Supplies Needed:
--A sewing machine in good working order
--A new needle on your machine
--Thread
--Seam Ripper
--Scissors
--505 Spray Adhesive
Fabric Requirements
--Duffle
--Patchwork Duffle Pattern
--12 Fat eighths or 35 precut 10” squares or 3 1/2” scraps
--1 yard of fabric for the lining
--1/2 yard of fabric for the accent
--1 fat quarter for the interior
--1 yard of Soft and Stable
--30” zipper. I prefer the zipper buy the inch with a double pull
--3 5/8 yards of 1.5” webbing for the handle
--Mini Duffle
--Patchwork Duffle Mini Pattern
--12 fat eighths or 3 1/2” scraps
--1 yard for lining
--1/2 yard for exterior accent
--1 yard of Soft and Stable
--30” zipper. I prefer the zipper by the inch with a double pull
--3 1/4 yard of 1.5” webbing for the handle
