Beginner Quilt Blocks



Are you a beginner with quilting? Want to learn to create different blocks, such as nine-patch, half-square triangles, flying geese, square dance, rail fences and log cabins? With this class, you will learn to create six different blocks in which you can create a size of a baby quilt. 

Materials
- Start Quilting with Alex Anderson (Book)
- Working Sewing Machine
- Cutting Board
- Rotary Cutter
- Pins
- 70/10 Microtex Needles
- Fabric

Fabric Requirements (This will make the Sampler Quilt on Page 41 of your book)
- 1 yard of main fabric for the outer border
- 1/3 yard of 10-12 different light-to-dark colors to match your main fabric
- 1/4 yard for inner border
