Four Crossings
Four Crossings is a beautiful quilt. The crossing blocks in this quilt make a beautiful frame for a center medallion, either appliquéd or piecing as in the pattern. I also love the Crossing Block because the quilt looks to be on point with is my favorite setting. You may decide to do the version with blanket stitch appliqué or all piecing, both techniques will be covered in class.
Supplies list
Fabrics:Please see book for fabric requirements
You will be creating a 6 strip log cabin quilt block. You will need two values for the quilt - light to light, medium to medium, darks to darks.
These measurements are for a 13"block, 46" square quilt with no borders. If you choose to make a larger quilt you will need more fabric.

Thread for blanket stitch, this will be discussed in class. The teacher likes a heavier weight thread that matches the appliqué elements for this.
