School of Sewing



Do you want to learn to sew? Does the idea of learning to sew on your own seem scary and time-consuming? In this beginning sewing series, you will learn how to measure and cut fabric, you will learn new techniques including how to sew a straight 1/4" and 1/2" seam, sew a french seam. We will work through many different projects in this course such as a pillowcase, a bag an apron and more!, All from Shea Henderson’s book School of Sewing.  


Supplies:
Machine in good working order and knowledge of use
Basic sewing supplies, thread, scissors, instruction manual
Book: School of Sewing
Scissors
Pins
Seam ripper
Additional Supplies will be required to make each weeks project (fabrics, zippers, batting etc...)
