Tumbling Block
Tumbling Block quilts are one of the most recognizable of all quilt designs, but making one can be intimidating to many. In this class you will create a tumbling block quilt you will be proud of. The teacher's technique for a Y seam and setting triangles and a unique process for "not" putting rows together.
Fabrics:
For a lap size quilt, you will need 3 fabrics ranges - a total of 1 1/2" of each.
I recommend a 1/4 yard of 6 fabrics of each range. The range will be light, mediums and darks. This will be total of 4 1/2 yards of fabric.
If you are wanting to just try the technique before you purchase all your fabrics, you can bring a 1/4 yard of 3 fabrics light, medium and dark.
