Easy Sashings Quilt As You Go
This quilt is not only a Quilt As You Go Design, but it's also a reversible quilt. These are basics of QAYG techniques that can help you in all your future quilt making that you may want to do as a QAYG project. In the class we will work on 2-3 blocks and the easy sashing. We will be discussing the block making and easy sashing so you will need to know basic quilt make techniques, this is a class for beginners and advance alike.
Fabrics:
You will be creating a reversible quilt block, so you will need two color ways to work with. These measurements are for a 16" block, 64" square quilt with no borders. If you choose to make a larger quilt you will need more fabric.
Needed for both color ways - so double this yardage:
Center/outside email triangle - 1/8th yard
#1 log - shortest - 1/4 yard
#2 log -3/8 yard
#3 log - 1/2 yard
#4 log - 1/2 yard
#5 log - 1 yard
Large Triangle - and smaller busy print works best for this fabric - 1 3/4 yards
Sashings - 1 1/4 yard
