Youth Get to Know Your Machine
Youth Get to Know Your Machine is for the beginner sewer. This is a one-time class which teaches students how to use a sewing machine along with the basic skills to get started sewing. This is a great class for children who want to give sewing a try or are interested in signing up for our Youth School of Sewing. During lessons students learn how to use the Sewing Machine which includes: learning what the parts of the machine are called and what they do along with safety; Threading the machine and needle; learning how to control the fabric with their fingers as they practice straight, curves, turning corners and locking stitches!
