Create and sew with all those saved ties from who knows who. Learn the process of how to prepare the ties so they can be included in a quilt that will be cherished. Two patterns will be taught and it's up to you to choose. The flying geese pattern was created by the instructor and will be offered in the class. SUPPLIES: Sewing machine in working order Basic sewing supplies Size 12 (80) needle Quarter inch foot for machine Thread to match background of quilt Ruler 6 1/2" x 12 1/2" Rotary cutter and mat Shears
*If doing the Snack Time Quilt - Contrasting fabric yardage for the size quilt you are making One tie will make one hexie Hex N More ruler by Jaybird Quilts Woven fusible interfacing (42" wide) 3/4 yd will do 15 hexies
*If doing the Flying Geese Quilt (54" x 63") -168 blocks Each tie will make two + blocks 2 Yards Woven fusible interfacing (42" wide) 4 1/2 yds will make 168 blocks 2 1/2 yds Background fabric Creative Grids 6" Flying Geese Ruler
DO NOT cut apart the ties - Wash in warm water on gentle cycle in machine or by hand. Dry on low temp. in dryer or hang to dry.
