Quilting 201

This is the class to go to after Quilting 101! You should know the basics: rotary cutting, sewing an accurate quarter inch seam, and pressing. We will be working with easy to make method half square triangles, which will become a chevron. You will be learning how to make half square triangles, how to square them up and matching up points. This is a layer cake friendly quilt. Even if you are a seasoned quilter this is just a fun quick quilt to make!

1. Machine in good working order
2. Two layer cakes, one for the background (White) one for the Chevron contrast or 3 yards of background and 3 yards of contrast size 64”x 80”
3. Thread to match
4. Rotary cutter
5. Ruler
6. Squaring ruler
7. Marking pencil
8. Quarter inch machine foot
