Cincinnati.....Spring Quilt Market

This year Spring Quilt Market is in Cincinnati (not Chicago) Come join your friends and fellow quilters for a relaxing four day quilters extravaganza in Cincinnati, Ohio; the "New Chicago." Our final destination is the new home to the International Quilt Festival, Cincinnati, OH. I have personally toured and visited our attractions and accommodations as soon as I heard the IQ Festival was going to be held in Cincinnati in 2011, "you will not be disappointed with this new venue." The Quilters Road Trip

The annual Harvest Hop will be on a one year hiatus because of other big events happening in the fall. So join us this year for a Quilters Road Trip. Travel to at least 16 area quilt shops. You’ll have 3 months to visit the shops. You don't have to visit them all but you sure will want to.

Hand Embroidery and Embellishment Club with Kathi & Pam
With all our wool and cotton appliqué blocks it is time to put our heads together and form an embroidery and embellishment club.  Our loosely formatted plan is to learn and perfect a different stitch each month during the first half of our meeting.  During the second half we will let loose with ideas and brainstorms from each other and work on our own current projects.  It is amazing what can happen when a group of stitchers get together and learn from each other.  Join us when and as often as you like.  We are looking forward to stitching with you.  Enthusiastic beginners and up welcome.

Date:  4th Friday of the month
Time:  10-2pm (class time: 10-12pm, open sew time: 12-2pm)
Cost:  $8

Open Embroidery with Bobbi
We have set aside a whole day for you to come in and work on your embroidery projects. With the 10 to 2 time frame it makes it worth your while.  This is not a teaching class but Bobbi will be there to guide you and answer questions.  Come in and work on your embroidery projects, have fun, and make new friends.  It’s a great time to share your ideas and collaborate together on current projects.  If you know Bobbi, he probably has been baking so there might be something tasty too!  So bring whatever supplies you need for your project and let’s have some fun.

Open Sew with Carolyn
Do you just need a night out with a friend or others who enjoy sewing?  Come and bring an unfinished project or something brand new.  Bring your supplies and enjoy a night of fun.

Margo invites you to join her for open sew at Smith Owen.  All types of sewing welcome - machine or handwork.  Look for fun as you get your projects done.

Come join us for Open Sew.  We have been having "Sew" much fun!  It is so inspiring to see what projects everyone is working on!  Bring your project, sewing supplies and let's have some fun.
