Snow
Day! with Amy NEW
What
a great way to spend a snow day! Over the course of the class, we will
discuss fusibles, different appliqué stitches, how to use those stitches and
end up with an excellent quilt top. And, you get to do a little piecing
right along with the appliqué. We will get a jump start so you can finish
it in time to quilt it and have it ready to go next winter (or this winter if
you are REALLY motivated!). These little snowmen are as fun to create, as
they are adorable. Wouldn’t someone you know just love this quilt (or
table runner)?!

Days of Christmas Wool Block of the Month
with
Pam
Taking the basic patterns and inspiration from Nancy Halvorson’s book 12 Days
of Christmas, we have put our own twist on it and are using wool and cotton to
make this quilt as you go quilt. In this quilt you will be doing wool
appliqué and also some turned cotton appliqué. You can decide whether to
machine or hand stitch your appliqué. The background is simply pieced
with wool and cotton, adding borders. The backing will be added to each block so
that block can be quilted. We will put it all together after the 12 blocks
are stitched and you will have a finished quilt. A monthly class meeting
will be offered or you can simply pick up your block. A few (whole) kits
are still available. Please contact Pam at Smith Owen for more
information.
1 Full kit is now available!
Includes background and appliqué fabric (12 blocks)
Cost: $240
