Saturday Sampler Block of the Month

This is how it works-in January, on the 3rd Saturday of the month (Jan 19, 2008) at precisely 9am (we will open the store at 8:30am for those that would like to come early and share a cup of coffee before the session begins). You will have a seat and we will tell you about new techniques, fabrics, notions, books, and patterns that we have received in the last month (about 20 minutes). After our little “talk” we will show you the January block. For $5.00, you will receive the block instructions and fabric for a 12” block. You are then welcome to take advantage of an “in store special” just for those in the club. For those of you who need extra instruction on the block, we will give you a group tutorial on the block construction (about 20 minutes).

Now for the exciting part!!! When you return on February 16th, on time, with your finished block, and stay for the new product talk-you will receive your February block for free! This will continue for 12 months, which means if you finish your block every month and come on time for our product talk, you will get all 12 blocks for only $5.00. 

Due to the nature of this Block of the Month, the rules can never be altered. We can make no exceptions for receiving your free block, just come on time with your block finished and you'll receive that months block for free. If at any time you are unable to attend our Saturday Sampler Meeting you can continue the series at an additional costs. Just $5.00 each month will buy the missing patterns and fabrics. Then, just return to the next meetings and continue FREE. You may do more than one block if you wish, but only one block will be free the following month. The person receiving the free block must be the person who made the block. One free block per participant.

For our “winter” residents who reside outside of Grand Rapids, we are making an exception. Before you head out of town”, we request your address and e-mail information. We will mail you, in the US, the Saturday Sampler block each month you are not with us, for a fee of $10.00 for single block.

PLEASE REMEMBER:

1. Your blocks must be finished before the next Saturday meeting in order to continue Free.
2. Only “register members” are allowed in the classroom during the demos. Sorry there isn’t enough room for guests and children.
3. You must be on time (we will start promptly at 9am) and stay for the “new item” talk-we promise to make these very informative.
4. You must sign up before January 11th in order for us to know how many kits and in what colors we need to make.
