We will learn three different unique ways to finish your already terrific quilt top. A nine patch wonder, floating edge border and leaf patch border. All three of these borders will add a unique dimension to your quilt, with basic piecing techniques needed. You’ll start with a simple rail fence, and then move onto progressively more challenging blocks and methods. By the time the quilt is completed, you’ll have done strip-piecing, hand and machine appliqué, triangles, flying geese, paper piecing, setting triangles, and much more! The pattern is a binder containing all the patterns and instructions you will need for this 70 inch square quilt (plus instructions for six bonus projects as well!). Day! with Amy NEW What a great way to spend a snow day! Over the course of the class, we will discuss fusibles, different appliqué stitches, how to use those stitches and end up with an excellent quilt top. And, you get to do a little piecing right along with the appliqué. We will get a jump start so you can finish it in time to quilt it and have it ready to go next winter (or this winter if you are REALLY motivated!). These little snowmen are as fun to create, as they are adorable. Wouldn’t someone you know just love this quilt (or table runner)?!
