here to see class pictures Not just for beginners, this is a class that takes you step-by-step through the entire quilt making process while completing a medallion-style quilt. You’ll start with a simple rail fence, and then move onto progressively more challenging blocks and methods. By the time the quilt is completed, you’ll have done strip-piecing, hand and machine appliqué, triangles, flying geese, paper piecing, setting triangles, and much more! The pattern is a binder containing all the patterns and instructions you will need for this 70 inch square quilt (plus instructions for six bonus projects as well!) A perfect class to ensure that you’re quilting education is complete! Scrap
Therapy with Rose Scrap Therapy addresses the stash problem by teaching quilters how to turn their mounds of beautiful fabric scraps into usable sizes. Once your cutting is under way you are ready to create quilts and other projects with the patterns designed for Scrap Therapy. You can also adapt your own patterns as well. We have been doing classes that use your scraps in beautiful quilts and projects. You are going to love the way this technique gets you organized. Meet with our therapist and learn the concepts of the therapy and how to cut and organize your scraps. Classes are for cutting and/or scrap therapy projects. I will walk you through the basics of fusibles, which stitches you can use and even teach you a little thread painting if you’d like. You will also do a little free piecing for the outer border. When we finish this class you will be well on your way to have an adorable quilt to add to your holiday decorations. Sisters TNT Embroidery Block of the Month with Pam We have combined forces with Hoopsisters to offer their unique Embroidablock of the Month program. The quilt for 2010 is entitled, “TNT”, Textures and New Techniques” and is absolutely exquisite. Their technique of combining embroidery with piecing and quilting is extraordinary. Last year’s quilt, Crazy Compass was a huge hit, and we are happy to announce our participation in this year’s program. We will be meeting monthly when you will be able to receive your design and work on your block for that month or watch the block demo.
