| Supplies: Piping Hot Binding (ruler and instructions) Small quilted quilt ready for binding Fabric for piping and binding, make sure they contrast! Susan Cleveland piping cording (there is some in the ruler) Thread to match piping, thin, Masterpiece, Bottom Line, YLI #100 Silk 50 or 60 wt cotton thread for bobbin, neutral slightly contrasting piping 50 or 60 wt cotton thread for piecing, neutral or coordinating with main fabric Fresh needles, 70/10 jeans or sharps Zipper foot OR presser foot with small groove in bottom (optional but very desirable...appliqué foot, pin tuck foot, or corded buttonhole foot, piping feet are usually too big!) Rotary cutter, mat, rulers Sewing machine in good working order |
