Fabric:
2 1/8 yards border and binding fabric
The following yardages can be a combination of fat ¼’s, ¼ yd. and
1/3 yd with at least 10 different fabrics for each color way listed
below:

1/3 yards total of a variety light/medium for blocks*
3 1/3 yards total of a variety medium/dark for blocks*
*Colors have different values depending on the colors placed next to
them. A medium-value color will look “light” if placed next to
darker colors but will look “dark” if placed next to lighter colors.
You will not want really light colors.
Note:
If you wish you could substitute a print for the pieced sections and
just strip piece the entire quilt. If you would like help picking
your colors you may wait until class time. Also bring your machine but
wait to bring it into the store in case you do not get to piece the
first session.

will want to have a rotary cutter, mat and ruler
You will have the choice of making the triangular blocks in 2 different
piecing methods. Each will have a small cost to the teacher.
Pencil and paper for taking notes will be helpful.
