needle if your jeans are a heavy weight
Note:
the amount of fabric will vary on size, height of the person and how
many tiers you want!
If
you are making it for someone other than yourself measure from the waist
to desired length. If you can not measure the person get the measurement
of a favorite skirt length.
Skirt:
1-3 fabrics
Listed
below are the amounts used for the models the largest pair of jeans is a
junior 7. If you are doing a large size you will have to determine what
width of the tier and cut 3 widths instead of just 2 strips per tier.
The bottom tier for 3 fabrics I had to cut 5 strips.
Blues
and Brown Skirt 3 fabrics
Top
tier ~ 3/8 yard
Middle tier ~ ¾ yard
Bottom tier ~ 5/8 yard
Pink
with Lace Skirt 2 fabrics
Top
tier ~ 3/8 yard
Middle tier ~ ½ yard

Purse:
You will use left over fabric from your skirt and the following:

Small
amount of one of these to stiffen the flap of the purse
Batting,
fusible web, or iron on interfacing
Optional
for embellishments: 2 buttons to attach the strap as on the Pink with
Daisies purse
Button(s)
for front flap as on the flap Blues and Brown purse. Doily and buttons as
on the Pink and Lace purse.
Additional
things you may want to use are Velcro, magnetic snaps for closure, beads,
yarn, etc.

cutter, Mat and Ruler (make sure you have a sharp blade in your cutter)
