Required pattern: Recycled Denim Wave Tote or Purse  

Supplies:
2 or 3 pair of jeans (you will need the 3rd pair if your jeans are small)  Your jeans may be different shades if you choose. You may choose to use denim or fabric yardages the amount you will need is 1 1/4yards
6 ~ 1/8 yard or 6 fat 1/4’s for waves 
Note: You may use more or less colors for the waves but when choosing colors you need to have a strong contrast for the waves to show. Example dark jeans use light colors for waves or light jeans dark colors for waves
1/2 yard of muslin 
7/8 yard for lining
5/8 yard for pockets
1 yard of 1 1/2” webbing for handle
1/8 yard of Timtex™ or Fast A Fuse™  

 Additional things you may want to use are Velcro, magnetic snaps for closure, beads, yarn, etc.  

100/16 Jean needle for sewing machine  

Thread ~ blue to match jeans, 30—40 wt. thread to sew jean pocket on color of your choice, Decorative thread (optional) for stitching down wave on strap  

Rotary cutter, Mat and Ruler (make sure you have a sharp blade in your cutter)

You will also need Rotary Cutting wavy blade (sorry girls I have tried the scrap booking scissors and they are not sharp enough to cut fabric)

Scissors for cutting fabric, Seam ripper
