Fabric: 2
fat quarters--choose at least one that has multiple colors that change
over the piece of fabric, batiks work great for this. The
second one needs to compliment but not overpower the first. Border
fabrics will be chosen after you have finished the center. You will
need 5/8 yard for outside border. If you choose to add a flip border you
will need ¼ yard or fat quarter additional 5/8 yard iron on woven interfacing Ro Suggested
sizes are a 6” – 8 ½” wide by 24 – 24 ½” long ruler Thread: 60wt
thread such as thread
for the decorative stitching I used thread
for piecing 50/2 wt. Roxanne Glue Baste It Teflon pressing sheet 1 1/4" binder clips (found at the office supply store).
