Supplies:
--If you would like, set up an appointment with Nancy to pick out your fabric before the first class.  She will help you find the perfect fabrics.  If you choose to pick your own fabrics, for a wall hanging, the star fabrics need be know more then 6 or 8 fabric, approx. 1/3 yard.  For larger quilts you can use up to 11 fabrics, approx. ½ yard each.  The background fabric should not be chosen until the stars are done, so please try to hold off picking this until the second session.

--Book of your choice with a Lone Star you would like to make, I used Jan Krentz’s book “Lone Star Quilt & Beyond). Elenor Burns “Radiant Lone Star” is a very good book for basic Lone Stars.

--Straight pins – Iris Silk pins or Flower head pins, NO pins with ball heads!

--Marking pen that can be seen on your fabric.
