Supplies: Please set up an appointment with Nancy before class to help pick out your fabrics.  She will use a computer designing program to help you decide on your colors.  All supplies bought at Smith-Owen for the class will be discounted 15%.

Fabric:
--Light backgrounds – behind appliqué section and setting triangles – 2 yards
-- In pieced blocks and flying geese – 2 yards
-- Last border & binding, Inner solid border, setting squares (blue on the store sample) 3 ½ yards
--Second border, background to cable border – 1 ¼ yards
-- Cabled border design and accents – 5/8 yard
--Accent fabrics – for use in pieced blocks and appliqué – (5) ½ yards pieces
--First border and accent fabric (gold in the store sample) 3/8 yard
--Backing 4 ½ yards – we will discuss this fabric in the 6th class  --Sewing machine in good working order – ¼ inch foot is very helpful
