--Light backgrounds – behind appliqué section and setting triangles –

-- Last border & binding, Inner solid border, setting squares (blue on
the store sample) 3 ½ yards
--Second border, background to cable border – 1 ¼ yards
-- Cabled border design and accents – 5/8 yard
--Accent fabrics – for use in pieced blocks and appliqué – (5) ½
yards pieces
--First border and accent fabric (gold in the store sample) 3/8 yard
--Backing 4 ½ yards – we will discuss this fabric in the 6th class
--Sewing machine in good working order – ¼ inch foot is very helpful
--new sewing machine needles (suggested 75/11 Universal)
--scissors for cutting thread
--100% cotton thread, size 50/3, color gray--seam ripper
--Fine silk pins – No pins with large ball heads
