Pattern required: “Quilted Letters” by H.D. Designs

Fabric requirements – 1 yard of background fabric

¾ yard of fabric for the bias strips

¼ yard of fabric for the inset portions

Rotary cutter, mat 18X24 and ruler (6 X 24”)

Portable or full-size iron

Scissors

Freezer paper

Fabric Basting glue stick and Roxanne’s Glue Baste

Pencil or marker that will show up on your background fabric

Invisible thread for applique

Bias Pressing Bars

If you can not see the pattern through your background fabric, it would be helpful to have a light box.  

NOTE:  You must have your pattern enlarged before coming to class so we can get right to work.
