Supplies:
You will need a machine in good working order, your sewing machine manual and all of the feet that you have for your machine and screw driver to change needles.

Extra fine sharpie marker

Scraps of fabric in the following pieces 

1 ~ 8" x 12" piece of fabric, 
2 ~ 6" x 8" pieces of fabric 
2 ~ least 10" square

Threads to either match or contrast with your fabrics

Scissors, pencil to take notes.
